Bespoke Commission Guide

Thank you for considering our studio to bring your character to life. We pride ourselves on creating premier character costumes that blend artistic flair with durable craftsmanship. As we specialise in high-end, bespoke creations, we have outlined our commissioning process below to ensure a seamless experience.

1. The Commission Process

Step 1: The Enquiry
When our commission slots open, please submit a quote form via our website. Be as detailed as possible regarding your character’s design, markings, and specific requirements (e.g., following-eyes, moving jaw, or specific padding).

Step 2: Quotation & Slot Confirmation
If your project is selected, we will send you a tailored price quote in GBP (£). To secure your slot in our queue, a non-refundable deposit of 30% is required.

Step 3: Measurements & The DTD
To ensure a perfect, tailored fit, we require a Duct Tape Dummy (DTD) for all full-suit commissions. We will provide a comprehensive guide on how to craft this properly. Please note that the fit of your suit relies entirely on the accuracy of the DTD you send us.

Step 4: Production
Once we reach your place in the queue, production begins. We will update you at key stages (foaming, furring, shaving) to ensure the expression and shape meet your vision. We typically utilise a Trello board or email updates so you can track the progress of your commission.

Step 5: Completion & Despatch
Upon completion, we will provide high-quality studio photos of your finished suit. Once the final balance and shipping costs have been paid, your commission will be carefully packed and despatched via tracked courier.

2. Commission Types

We currently offer the following tiers of craftsmanship:

  • The Partial: Includes a detailed head, hand paws, and a tail. (Optional: feet paws and arm sleeves). Perfect for those who wish to wear their own clothing while in character.
  • The Plantigrade Full Suit: A full-body costume that follows the natural shape of the human leg, offering a streamlined look with maximum mobility.
  • The Digitigrade Full Suit: Our signature premier option. Features complex internal padding to create the illusion of animalistic, bent-leg anatomy.
3. Materials & Quality

We do not compromise on quality. Our studio stocks a vast array of luxury faux furs, ensuring the correct pile length and texture for your character.

  • Heads: Built on lightweight, durable resin or foam bases with excellent ventilation.
  • Paws: Silicone or minky pads with durable, outdoor-grade soles available.
  • Eyes: Hand-painted, 3D printed, or vacuum-formed with water-resistant mesh for superior vision.
4. Important Terms
  • Age Restriction: You must be 18 years of age or older to commission us. ID verification may be required.
  • Payment Plans: We understand that a premier fursuit is a significant investment. We are happy to discuss flexible instalment plans; however, the suit will not be started until a set percentage is paid, and will not be shipped until the balance is cleared.
  • Shipping & Customs: We ship worldwide. Please be aware that for international clients (outside the UK), you are responsible for any VAT, import duties, or customs charges incurred upon arrival in your country.
